Ryan Chang is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Construction Practice. He is also a member of the Korean Business and Litigation Practice Group. His current areas of practice include commercial litigation, general liability, construction defect litigation, and habitability actions. Ryan also has experience in various areas of insurance law, as he represented both insureds in general liability matters and carriers for insurance coverage cases.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ryan enjoyed a long career as a case manager for a private real estate development company handling real estate transactions, land use entitlements, and property development. He has led several major development projects through the approval process with Los Angeles City Planning and the Department of Building and Safety.
During law school, Ryan served as the Editor-in-Chief of Southwestern’s Journal of International Law Honors Program. He also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge Barry Russell of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California.
