Marcela Gyires to Speak at Cornell University HR in Hospitality Conference

Atlanta, Ga. (April 24, 2024) – Fort Lauderdale Partner Marcela Gyires will join a panel to speak on international recruitment at the 2024 Cornell HR in Hospitality Conference, taking place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on April 29 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

This informative 60-minute session, titled “International Recruitment: Navigating the Visa Landscape (HR3),” will provide attendees with key insights on international recruitment in talent acquisition, with an emphasis on planning and management. Ms. Gyires will be joined by co-panelists Vanessa Noel of Alliance Abroad and Joy Proctor of the United States Department of State to share experiences with sourcing international talent through visa programs like J-1, H2-B, and TN.

Ms. Gyires is a member of the Immigration Practice. For a decade prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, she focused her practice on all aspects of immigration law at a boutique full service Immigration Law firm in South Florida. Last year, she was inducted to the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association (PBCHBA) Board.
