Jessica Beckwith to Present MCBA CLE on Ethical Use of Paralegals

Phoenix, Ariz. (April 22, 2021) - Phoenix Partner Jessica L. Beckwith will co-present a CLE program titled "Ethical Use of Paralegals," hosted by the Maricopa County Bar Association (MCBA), taking place on June 9 at 1:00 p.m. MT.

Ms. Beckwith and her fellow presenter will discuss how attorneys and paralegals can work together to service clients while ensuring that their work is done in an ethical way. They will also examine the relevant Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct (ER 5.3) and canons of paralegal ethics, while also addressing common questions and pitfalls that arise regarding paralegal practices.

Ms. Beckwith is a partner in Lewis Brisbois' Phoenix and Los Angeles offices and serves as a Firmwide Assistant General Counsel. Her practice focuses on advising attorneys and law firms on matters relating to bar charges in Arizona and state bar complaints in California, as well as fee disputes, disciplinary matters, and more.
