Conrad L. Horowitz

Conrad L. Horowitz is a partner in the New York office and a member of the Professional Liability and General Liability Practices. He has extensive insurance defense experience in various practice areas including personal injury, property damage, premises liability, professional liability, legal malpractice, New York Labor Law, and high exposure construction defect claims. Conrad also handles the defense of automobile and transportation matters. Throughout his career, Conrad has advocated zealously for his clients in obtaining successful resolutions of their cases. Conrad has appeared throughout New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties for court conferences, oral argument, arbitrations, and mediations. He is adept in handling all aspects of civil litigation including early investigation, motion practice, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation. He has successfully tried a bench trial in Kings County Civil Court by proving that the alleged injuries/treatment were not medically necessary. He has successfully argued before the Appellate Term, Second Department.

Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Conrad represented the insureds of several major general liability carriers in various general liability practice areas. Before being admitted to the New York State Bar in 2014, he was an intern for former New York State Deputy Chief Administrative Judge George J. Silver.
