Lewis Brisbois Welcomes Leiza Dolghih in Dallas

Dallas, Texas (June 1, 2017) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Leiza Dolghih to its Dallas office as a partner in the Employment & Labor Practice.

With more than a decade of experience, Dolghih’s practice focuses on prosecuting and defending misappropriation of trade secrets and breaches of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

“Leiza adds to the depth and talent of Lewis Brisbois’ Dallas office with her experience and successful track record of helping business owners and management protect their trade secrets, litigate complex commercial disputes, and enforce non-compete agreements,” said Dallas Managing Partner Chris C. White. “Leiza’s addition demonstrates Lewis Brisbois’ interest in and commitment to not only Texas, but the whole I-35 corridor from Wichita to San Antonio.”

Wichita and Kansas City Managing Partner Alan Rupe, who also vice-chairs the Employment & Labor Practice, echoed the sentiment, adding “We’re excited to include Leiza as we continue to partner with corporations throughout Texas and the Midwest. She adds to the ever-growing strength of our employment practice in the middle of the country.”

Dolghih routinely assists companies with obtaining temporary and preliminary injunctions to prevent departing employees or competitors from violating non-disclosure, non-compete, or non-solicitation agreements or using clients’ trade secrets.

Dolghih also defends companies accused of trade secrets misappropriation and related claims. She further helps clients audit their trade secrets protection measures and advises on how such measures can be improved to meet federal and state law requirements.

“I am excited to be joining a firm with a national footprint and reputation for excellence. My clients will be getting not only my unique expertise, but the benefit of the combined experience of more than 1,100 attorneys, all at sensible rates,” Dolghih said.

In addition to her work on trade secrets and non-competes, Dolghih handles business litigation in state and federal courts and provides general employment advice to companies regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws, investigations, and employment law litigation.
