Webinar Series: Risky Business - Strategies & Best Practices for Risk Sharing & Transfer

Orange County, Calif. (February 29, 2024) – Houston Partner Kristopher M. Stockberger, Lafayette Managing Partner Jenny Michel, and Los Angeles Partner Cameron Kalunian will present a webinar titled "Risky Business – Strategies & Best Practices for Risk Sharing & Transfer," on March 21, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. PT.

During this informative 60-minute CLE session, our speakers will discuss the conditions, law, and practical application of two critically important risk transfer vehicles. Moderated by Orange County Managing Partner Charles L. Harris, this program will be beneficial for insurance professionals who handle claims involving bodily injury, property damage claims, and/or construction disputes.

Mr. Stockberger is a member of the General Liability, Labor & Employment, Construction, and London Market Group Practices. He routinely handles employment regulation, construction industry, and energy industry matters.

Ms. Michel is the chair of Lewis Brisbois' Marine & Energy Practice, and co-chair of its London Market Group and Pollution Legal Liability/Environmental Impairment Liability (PLL/EIL) Practices. She has extensive experience in negotiation and litigation involving marine and energy contracts, including defense, indemnity, and additional insured demands, as well as a variety of first and third party coverage and bad faith matters.

Mr. Kalunian is a vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ nationwide Construction Practice and a member of the Complex Litigation Practice. His practice is focused on multi-party litigation in a wide variety of cases involving claims related to breach of contract, fraud, unfair business practices, real estate, construction defect disputes, and various tort claims.

Mr. Harris is chair of the Architects & Engineers and Construction Practices. Mr. Harris has more than 25 years of experience as a litigator in state and federal courts throughout California. He has defended developers, general contractors, sub-contractors/artisans, and design professionals in cases involving alleged design and construction defects and construction fee disputes.
