T.J. Keevins to Speak on Runway Incursion Liability at AIA 2024 Annual Conference

New Orleans, La. (April 30, 2024) – Newark Partner Thomas “T.J.” Keevins will join a panel on risks posed by runway incursions at the Aviation Insurance Association’s 2024 Annual Conference in New Orleans on May 3 at 2:00 p.m. ET.

This 60-minute informative session, titled “Too Close for Comfort – Risks Posed by Runway Incursions,” will discuss the causes of runway incursions, the losses that could be caused, and tips for defending lawsuits. Mr. Keevins will be joined by co-panelists Bill Coachman of Sompo International and David Gourgues of McLarens Aviation to shed light on some of the real-life examples of these incursions and the efforts taken by the FAA and the aviation industry to reduce the number of occurrences. CLE credits are available.

Mr. Keevins is a member of the firm’s Aviation and General Liability Practices. His practice includes defending large domestic and international air carriers in personal injury cases and other matters.
