Simone McCormick to Present on Data Privacy at DRI Women in the Law Seminar
Scottsdale, Ariz. (January 8, 2020) – Portland Partner Simone McCormick will give a presentation at the DRI Women in the Law Seminar titled “The End of Lawlessness: Your Data, your Decision,” on Thursday, January 23 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Ms. McCormick’s interactive program will discuss consumer data and explore the changing legal landscape of data privacy legislation and what it likely means for the future.
This three-day seminar will feature over a dozen presentations on such topics as improving communication with in-house counsel, how outside counsel are being incentivized to embrace diversity and inclusion, the legal implications associated with the growing use of biometric data, and much more. The event will also provide many exceptional networking opportunities.
Ms. McCormick is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity and Labor & Employment Practices and serves on the DRI’s Cyber Security and Data Privacy Committee.
