Sean Hoar to Speak at NetDiligence Cyber Risk Summit in Santa Monica
Santa Monica, Calif. (September 5, 2019) – Cybersecurity Partner Sean B. Hoar will join a panel at the NetDiligence Cyber Risk Summit on Tuesday, October 15, in Santa Monica. He and fellow panelists will be speaking about the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Beginning at 3:00 p.m., the discussion, titled “PCI Forensic Investigation Simulation,” will review the basics of the PCI DSS and the legal obligations under the standard. Mr. Hoar and the other panelists will also explain what a PCI forensic investigation (PFI) involves and the various scenarios in which a PFI could be used.
The NetDiligence Cyber Risk Summit is attended by hundreds of professionals in the cyber, insurance, regulatory, and legal industries, and features two full days of panel discussions by leading cyber experts, sharing their insights on hot topics, trends, and cybersecurity concerns.
Mr. Hoar is the chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. He holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), the Global Information Security Professional (GISP), and the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credentials, and is a frequent speaker and writer on issues involving cybersecurity and the law.
