National Trial Partner Tony Sain Speaks With Media About His Arrival at Lewis Brisbois

Los Angeles, Calif. (October 25, 2021) - National Trial and General Liability Partner Tony Sain recently spoke with The Recorder (part of Law.com), the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and Law360 regarding his move to Lewis Brisbois. As the articles explain and as Lewis Brisbois announced last week, Mr. Sain is focusing his practice at the firm on high-stakes catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters, tort litigation, as well as police civil liability cases. He will work closely with Los Angeles Partner and Co-Chair of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice Dana Alden Fox to grow the firm’s National Trial Practice and help develop the skills of junior trial attorneys.

In discussing the timing of his move, Mr. Sain told The Recorder, "Today’s Lewis Brisbois is a whole new firm. It’s bigger, better and more aggressive." He added, "It’s shifting clientele and practice areas in ways that are new, and one of the biggest shifts is to embrace a national trial practice that includes a public entity trial practice."

Similarly, in describing Lewis Brisbois’ National Trial Practice, Mr. Sain told the Daily Journal that "It's going to be unparalleled in terms of the excellence of attorneys and in court litigation skills. . . ." He added, "In court appellate advocacy, the ability to stand in front of a jury or stand in front of a court of appeal and make a cohesive, intelligent and persuasive argument, that’s a skill set unto itself."

Likewise, Mr. Sain explained to Law360 that he was excited to help grow Lewis Brisbois’ group of trial attorneys, commenting, "The technology that they're using is very cutting-edge, the structures they have in place here are incredibly supportive, and they're really committed to growing their practice areas, particularly this national trial practice."
