Mark Yost to Present at the 71st Annual AHCA/NCAL Virtual Convention & Expo
Baltimore, Md. (September 18, 2020) – Baltimore Partner Mark A. Yost will present a webinar at the 71st Annual American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) Convention & Expo on October 15, discussing regulatory compliance and risk management issues.
Mr. Yost’s presentation, titled "REG-RISK - Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) Under the New Rules of Participation,” will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will describe the definitions of IJ, as well as the process of correcting and responding to IJ. Mr. Yost will also discuss the risks of IJ associated with infection control practices stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Yost is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance and Long-Term Care & Elder Law Practices. His practice focuses on defending healthcare providers in government and regulatory actions, as well as directing transactional change of ownership of healthcare facilities.
