Lovee Sarenas to Chair CBF Annual Insolvency Conference

Santa Barbara, Calif. (December 30, 2019) - Los Angeles Partner Lovee Sarenas will lead the California Bankruptcy Forum’s (CBF) next Annual Insolvency Conference in May 2020 as one of its Conference Chairs. She is the first Filipino-American in the organization’s 30-year history to take on this prominent leadership role. The 4-day event will take place May 14 to 17 in the coastal settings of the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California.
The Annual Insolvency Conference is the largest statewide gathering of insolvency professionals in California. With its 900 members, the CBF attracts a broad group of insolvency professionals, from accountants and attorneys, to bankers, financial advisors, turnaround specialists, and auctioneers. The conference is also strongly supported by federal bankruptcy judges and bankruptcy appellate panel judges in California who attend and participate in the event.
Ms. Sarenas is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Bankruptcy & Insolvency Practice, focusing on mid-market business reorganizations and trustee representation.
