Lewis Brisbois to Present Webinar on Best Practices for Investigating Premises Liability Claims

Los Angeles, Calif. (January 11, 2024) – Raleigh Partner Chris Derrenbacher, Las Vegas Partner Laureen Frister, Tampa Partner John Rine, and Savannah Partner Brantley Rowlen will present a webinar titled "Best Practices Checklist for Investigating Premises Liability Claims," on January 24 at 12:00 p.m. PT. 

During this informative 60-minute CLE session, our speakers will present on best practices for managing the investigation process in premises liability claims. Moderated by Atlanta Partner Christine Hall, this session is tailored specifically for insurance professionals, general counsel, and anyone else who regularly handles premises liability claims involving death or significant bodily injury.

Mr. Derrenbacher is a member of the General Liability Practice. His clients include insurance companies and insured and self-insured individuals and corporations throughout the State. Mr. Derrenbacher is certified by the North Carolina Department of Insurance as a lecturer on numerous topics including insurance claim handling, general liability issues, and workers' compensation litigation. He is also an occasional guest lecturer to nurses and other medical staff regarding medical malpractice litigation.

Ms. Frister is a member of the General Liability and Class Action & Mass Tort Practices. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in trials involving products liability and breach of contract disputes. Her cases have involved catastrophic personal injury claims, wrongful death, products liability, foodborne illness, premises liability, negligent security, and contractual claims.

Mr. Rine is a member of the General Liability, Hospitality, and Transportation Practices. Mr. Rine has been practicing law in Florida and the Southeastern United States for more than twenty years and primarily practices in general liability, with a focus on hospitality and transportation litigation. He also has extensive experience in products liability, professional and legal liability, and construction.

Mr. Rowlen is the managing partner of the Savannah office. Mr. Rowlen has extensive litigation experience in the defending medical negligence actions on behalf of physicians, nurses, and healthcare entities, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, personal care homes, skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, and correctional facilities. Mr. Rowlen has also successfully defended insureds against professional malpractice, commercial litigation, premises liability, product liability, automobile/trucking liability and construction defect claims.

Ms. Hall is a member of the Transportation and General Liability Practices. She is an experienced litigation attorney who regularly represents clients in state and federal courts in transportation, aviation, products liability, general liability, insurance coverage (including first party coverage disputes and suspicious losses), and major casualty disputes.
