Denver, Co. (August 11, 2021) - Denver Partner Kayla D. Dreyer will co-present at a live CLE seminar titled "Remedies for Vaccination Injury Cases in Colorado," hosted by the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) on August 24 at 1:00 p.m. MT. She will be joined by a Colorado trial attorney experienced in civil litigation and employment law.

Ms. Dreyer will discuss employee remedies and employer risk related to the COVID-19 vaccine. During this 50-minute session, she will cover the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), unemployment compensation, disability plans, private health insurance, and social security disability.

This all-day seminar, which begins at 9:00 a.m. MT, features various sessions from attorneys who discuss federal funds, worker’s compensation, medical malpractice and ethics considerations that affect legal professionals in light of vaccination injury cases in the state. CBA’s goal is to show the entire landscape of possible remedies for vaccination injuries, and how to determine the appropriate course of action depending on the vaccination.

Ms. Dreyer’s practice focuses on trade secrets, commercial litigation, and employee mobility disputes, as well as traditional labor and employment issues. She has extensive experience with litigation, and represents clients in jurisdictions throughout the United States. Ms. Dreyer is also an officer on the Colorado Bar Association Litigation Section Council and has served in numerous leadership roles with the Junior League of Denver.
