Jessica Marshall to Present at State Bar of New Mexico's Employment and Labor Law Institute
Albuquerque, N.M. (September 14, 2022) – Albuquerque Partner Jessica D. Marshall will present on two panels at the State Bar of New Mexico’s Employment and Labor Law Institute on September 16.
First, Ms. Marshall will join a panel at 12:30 p.m. MT titled “New Mexico Healthy Workplaces Act – Implementation and Strategy,” to review key requirements of the Act and provide tips to implement employer paid sick leave policies. Then, at 1:30 p.m. MT, she will present a session titled “Federal Law Update on Arbitration of Sexual Harassment Claims,” that will address the impacts of this new law on litigation and existing arbitration agreements. CLE credits are available.
Ms. Marshall is a member of the Medical Malpractice and Labor & Employment Practices. She regularly represents physicians, medical professionals, and healthcare facilities in claims alleging medical negligence. Ms. Marshall also has extensive experience representing clients in pre-litigation employment defense matters before the New Mexico Human Rights Bureau and the EEOC.
