Jessica Beckwith to Speak on Social Media Use at ABA Conference

Miami, Fla. (March 7, 2019) – Los Angeles/ Phoenix Partner Jessica L. Beckwith will speak at the Spring 2019 National Legal Malpractice Conference hosted by the American Bar Association on April 4 at the Nobu Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach. Her presentation, “Social Media, Blog and Publication Liability…Oh My! (Ethics/Professional Responsibility),” will cover the importance to attorneys of maintaining a professional social media profile.

Ms. Beckwith and two other panelists will discuss some of the ethical and liability concerns that may arise from the casual and ill-considered use of social media and other digital publishing methods from the defense and insurance perspectives. They will provide tips for responsibly and appropriately using social media.
