Jeffrey Kominsky Elected to NBWA Professional Advisory Board
Fort Lauderdale, Fla(June 17, 2019) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to announce that Fort Lauderdale Partner Jeffrey Kominsky has been elected to the Professional Advisory Board (PAB) for the National Basketball Wives Association (NBWA). This appointment followed a lengthy process during which Mr. Kominsky was vetted and interviewed by wives of professional NBA, WNBA, and G-League players.
The NBWA’s PAB includes leaders and advocates from the National Basketball Association, National Basketball Retired Players Association, National Basketball Players Association, as well as the financial, legal, and educational sectors. Mr. Kominsky and his fellow board members support the NBWA Executive Board by offering strategic advice related to organizational operations, decision making, philanthropic endeavors, social activism, and community involvement.
As an organization, the NBWA and its volunteer board and members help fund children’s education and community initiatives for families and women around the world by providing resources to impoverished communities and grassroots organizations.
Mr. Kominsky is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Complex Business & Commercial Litigation and General Liability Practices. He has extensive experience counseling individuals and companies in the sports law space, and currently serves South Florida’s Chapter President of the Sports Business & Leadership Association
