Four Lewis Brisbois Partners to Present on Data Security Trends at the 2019 NCBA Conference

Minneapolis, Minn. (May 7, 2019) – Portland Partner Sean B. Hoar, Los Angeles Partners Patrik Johansson and Stephen Turner, and Philadelphia Partner David B. Sherman will present at the National Creditors Bar Association (NCBA) 2019 Spring Conference, taking place May 15th - 18th at the Hilton Minneapolis.

The team will present “Cybersecurity for Attorneys: Protecting Your Clients and Your License,” on Wednesday, May 15 at 2:15 p.m., and again on Thursday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. They will discuss recent trends in data security, while covering the current regulatory environment, financial implications, insurance coverage considerations, and how to comply with the standard level of care for information security to minimize potential liability.

The NCBA is a trade association dedicated to serving law firms engaged in the practice of creditors rights laws and currently has 2,000 members, comprised of attorneys in the areas of creditors rights law, defense and in-house counsel.

This conference is open to all National Creditors Bar Association members and non-members.
