Florence McClain to Present at Ramboll CLE Seminar on Cosmetic Talc & Asbestos

Los Angeles, Calif. (April 16, 2024) – San Francisco Partner Florence McClain will present at an upcoming CLE seminar hosted by Ramboll in downtown Los Angeles on May 2 at 9:00 a.m. PT.

During this informative 90-minute panel, titled “Cosmetic Talc and Asbestos: Current State of the Science,” Ms. McClain will examine analytical methods for talc and asbestos, discuss risks from talc-based products regarding ovarian cancer, and review epidemiological evidence linking talc to ovarian cancer. She will be joined by Michael Holton, Benjamin Ellis, and Alexa Gallagher of Ramboll, and Mary McKelvey of Polsinelli Law Firm. CLE credits are available.

Ms. McClain is a chair of Lewis Brisbois' Asbestos Practice. Her primary practice focuses on environmental and toxic tort litigation with an emphasis on the defense of asbestos defendants in addition to handling other matters. Throughout her career, she has successfully represented manufacturers, distributors, contractors and premises owners in suits including multiple-party litigation involving exposure to a variety of toxins.
