Elizabeth Furlow to Join Panel at CHCC Annual Convention

San Francisco Associate Elizabeth N. Furlow will present as part of a panel at the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) Annual Convention, held August 22 to 24 in Los Angeles.

Ms. Furlow will participate in a California Lawyers Association Workers’ Compensation Section panel on August 23. She will be joined by a defense attorney, an applicant’s attorney, and a workers’ compensation administrative law judge. The presentation will be a comprehensive overview of the workers’ compensation system, covering such topics as the obligations to carry workers’ compensation insurance, types of injuries that are recognized in California, time limits to pursue and defend against claims, the current state of access to medical treatment for injured workers, and indemnity benefits owed to injured employees.
