Chris Ballod Talks Net Neutrality with Law360

Pittsburgh Partner Chris Ballod discussed net neutrality in a Law360 article titled “3 Things To Watch As Net Neutrality Litigation Progresses.”

The article discusses the importance of the most recent round of net neutrality litigation that will be heard by the Ninth Circuit, net neutrality laws established by state legislatures, and the practical impacts of net neutrality on businesses.

Ballod spoke about the implications of the Ninth Circuit litigation, noting that it represents “a more consumer-friendly jurisdiction,” but he mostly talked about the questions that risk-management professionals have been asking in the wake of the net neutrality rollback. He commented that “uncertainty creates more difficulty and more concerns when negotiating clients’ agreements…This could be another impact on their budgets, something they have to continue to consider.”
