Baltimore, Md. (December 17, 2021) - Baltimore Partner Andrew Gendron has been appointed to two leadership positions within the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the premier organization of corporate and insurance-defense attorneys and insurance executives.

Mr. Gendron was appointed vice chair of the IADC's Membership Committee and the Membership Committee's liaison to the IADC’s Engagement and Retention Committee for 2021-2022. As the IADC notes on its website, committees are the "heart of the Association ... through which members network, expand and build skills, and further the objectives of the defense bar and business community."

In commenting on these appointments, Mr. Gendron said, "Work on these committees is rewarding on multiple fronts, as it provides me the opportunity to learn about each new member, facilitate their integration, and maintain member enthusiasm."

Mr. Gendron is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ National Trial Practice and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. He has tried nearly 100 cases to verdict, practiced throughout the United States, and is skilled in handling mass and class actions and multidistrict litigation in product liability, toxic tort, environmental, and stockholder/corporate-governance matters, as well as actions concerning fiduciary duties and professional liability.

The IADC's activities benefit its roughly 2,500 invitation-only, peer-reviewed members and their clients, the civil-justice system, and the legal profession. Learn more about this organization here.
