Aaron M. Thorburn

Aaron M. Thorburn is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of the General Liability Practice. He handles general litigation, product liability, and trucking and transportation matters.

Aaron joins Lewis Brisbois after serving for nearly six years as a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney. He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a Council on Legal Education Opportunity Thurgood Marshall Fellow, a member of the Black Law Students Association, a telecommunications law research assistant, and a volunteer at the Occupy Wall Street Clinic. During law school Aaron began building his legal resume working as a student advocate at the Hofstra University OWS Clinic, as a summer intern at private equity firm Bison Capital Management, and as a legal intern at CBS Corporation. Before embarking on a career in the legal profession Aaron was an account executive with New York PR firm PUBLIC, worked as a summer intern and contributing writer for the Orange County Register, and was an administrative assistant at Global Benefits Group.

He graduated in 2009 from Rutgers University with a B.A. in communication. As an undergraduate he made the dean's list and was a participant at the Rutgers Daily Targum newspaper and the Public Relations Society of America; played club hockey; and earned a Paul Harris Fellow Award from Coto De Caza/RSM Rotary Club.
