Scott Murray is a partner in the Jackson, Mississippi office. Scott’s legal practice focusses on insurance coverage analysis, opinions, consulting, disputes, litigation, and arbitration.
Over his career, Scott has had extensive experience representing domestic and foreign insurers and reinsurers in various insurance coverage matters. He has been involved with first-party and third-party insurance coverage disputes, including matters involving property policies, all risk policies, builder’s risk policies, delay in start-up coverage, commercial general liability policies, construction defect claims, and professional liability claims. Scott also has extensive experience defending insurers against bad faith claims.
Scott has also worked with insurance carriers to bring subrogation actions in commercial property matters and has assisted in the recovery of millions of dollars on behalf of insurers.
