Heather A. McConnell

Heather A. McConnell is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. She is a complex business litigator with over twenty-five years of experience litigating in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Her areas of practice include commercial, financial services, professional malpractice, intellectual property, employment discrimination, title insurance, personal injury, premises liability, and other legal disputes. Ms. McConnell handles all aspects of litigation from inception to trial, as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation and arbitration, with a practical, business-minded view, focused on developing legal strategies to efficiently achieve business goals while minimizing risks to clients.

Ms. McConnell served as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School, teaching a class in Civil Discovery. She has also worked on numerous pro bono matters seeking asylum in immigration courts on behalf of victims of drug cartel violence in Mexico and filing appeals of denied asylum applications.
