Dana A. Grigg is a partner in the Reno office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Ms. Grigg has litigated in several practice areas to include complex civil litigation, construction defects, commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and insurance law. Dana is licensed to practice law in all state and federal district courts in Nevada, and she has successfully resolved several matters to include those in pre-litigation and mediation, as well as in jury and bench trials.

Ms. Grigg has a diverse background beginning as a solo practitioner before joining the JAG corps with the United States Air Force. During her time as a judge advocate, she advised and/or litigated hundreds of matters involving contract, criminal, administrative, legislative, and international law. She also led a strategic initiative in Oceania to develop a comprehensive National Plan for Women’s Peace and Security resulting in an invitation and speaking engagement at Brown University on the issue.

Following her time as a judge advocate, Ms. Grigg became a hearing officer and attorney for the Nevada Division of Insurance regulating all insurance licenses for Nevada. Her experience at the Division gave her invaluable insight to enter back into the private sector of insurance defense and general liability with Taylor ∣ Anderson, LLP prior to joining Lewis Brisbois.

Apart from Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Grigg is active in her law community and Nevada community. Ms. Grigg holds a B-2 contractor’s license and has been involved in Nevada construction for over a decade. She is a member of the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association and the Washoe County bar. Outside of law, she is a mentor and Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters and coaches her son’s and daughter’s basketball teams.  She also enjoys snowboarding and travelling with her family.
