Allison B. Friedman

Allison B. Friedman is a partner at the Walnut Creek office of Lewis Brisbois with a litigation defense practice focused in the areas of medical malpractice, long term care facilities, and healthcare agencies. 

Ms. Friedman is a strong advocate and a skilled negotiator. She is fluent in legal procedure and is hands-on from the inception of her cases. She is diligent in clear communication with clients at every step of the litigation. Ms. Friedman is well versed in all phases of litigation and has enjoyed great success in obtaining favorable results for her clients. 

Ms. Friedman earned her J.D. in 2004 from the University of San Francisco School of Law where she attended on a Dean’s Scholarship. While in law school, Ms. Friedman was a selected participant in the Keta Taylor Death Penalty Project, conducting research and collecting data supporting the treatise, California Criminal Law: Cases And Problems, currently in its fourth edition. Ms. Friedman was also selected to join the Comparative Law Program in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, where she instructed attorneys on the concept and application of stare decisis. 

An Ohio native, Ms. Friedman attended high school in Reggio Emilia, Italy, before obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Italian, with a minor in Western European Studies, from the University of Wisconsin.
