Michael Castronovo is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Michael comes to Lewis Brisbois after practicing in civil litigation and criminal defense litigation. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Michael worked as an inhouse attorney for one of the largest insurance carriers in New York. In this practice Michael gained extensive experience representing the carrier's insureds in motor vehicle accidents which resulted in both bodily injury and property damage.

Michael also has extensive Court room experience as a criminal practitioner. In this practice Michael represented people accused of both misdemeanors and felonies throughout New York State and Federal Court. Michael was also previously appointed by the Courts to the Assigned Counsel Defender plan to represent indigent defendants.
