Dale Bergman is a partner at the Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois, Vice-Chair of the Securities & Corporate Finance Practice, and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Practice.

As a vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Securities & Corporate Finance Practice, Mr. Bergman focuses in the areas of corporate, business, and securities transactions. He has extensive experience structuring a variety of domestic and international commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, stock purchases, asset purchases, private equity and venture capital investments, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, strategic alliances and loan transactions. Mr. Bergman’s securities experience includes the representation of private and public issuers, major and middle market investment bankers, private equity firms and venture capitalists in billions of dollars of private and public offerings of equity and debt securities as well as public companies in ongoing SEC compliance and corporate governance matters, as well as a wide array of corporate transactions. Mr. Bergman’s diverse and significant experience with public sector transactions and public company reporting adds to the diverse public offering and securities compliance capabilities of Lewis Brisbois' Securities & Corporate Finance Practice.

Mr. Bergman has represented businesses at all stages of development, from formation or early-stage development, through internal and external growth, funding by private financing, commercial borrowing and/or a public offering and ultimately, the implementation of an exit strategy by way of a merger or other sale. He regularly assists clients with navigating a variety of issues over the lifespan of their businesses. These include organizational and corporate governance matters, financings, technology licensing, secured transactions, and private and public financings, as well as bank, institutional, and bond financings.

Moreover, throughout his 40+ year legal career, Mr. Bergman has maintained a diverse client base that has included companies in the United States, Israel, Europe, and Hong Kong. Fluent in Hebrew, he represents entrepreneurial, middle market, and institutional clients across various industries such as biotech, manufacturing, healthcare, aviation, retail, and hospitality.

Mr. Bergman's practice is relationship focused. He has served as a trusted advisor to many of his clients over the course of several decades on an array of complex matters.
