David Gould is a partner in the Las Vegas office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability, Labor & Employment, and Insurance Law Practices. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, David was a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Justice Michael A. Cherry (Ret.) of the Nevada Supreme Court, worked at several large law firms which specialized in insurance defense, labor and employment matters, bad faith insurance defense, construction defect and business litigation, and was general counsel for a defense contracting and security company.

David’s practice includes insurance, labor & employment, and business litigation, where he brings over a decade of experience representing some of the largest companies in the world. While in law school, David worked for an employment law firm where he drafted an Amicus Brief to the United States Supreme Court which was adopted as that Court’s published opinion. See, Crawford v. Metropolitan Gov’t of Nashville, 555 U.S. 271. The Crawford case discussed retaliatory harassment in the workplace, which also became the subject of David’s final thesis project and paper during law school. Additionally, David has represented several of the largest businesses in the Las Vegas area in employment laws matters, as well as an employee of a large gaming company during which David obtained a settlement for his client wherein the client paid $0.00.

Outside of the office, David is a rabid Michigan football fan and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
