Taryn Basauri Selected for ABA TIPS Leadership Academy

Seattle, Wash. (August 2, 2021) - Seattle and Portland Associate Taryn M. Basauri was recently selected to serve in the American Bar Association's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (ABA TIPS) Leadership Academy. She is one of only 25 attorneys in the country selected to participate in this group.

The TIPS Leadership Academy serves the public by providing participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop a vision to lead the legal profession. It strives to increase diversity of leadership within local communities and build relationships among different leaders and legal professionals across the country.

As part of her participation in the Leadership Academy, Ms. Basauri will participate in four ABA conferences throughout 2021 and 2022. Following completion of the program, she will be placed in a leadership role within the ABA, allowing her to continue the valuable work of the association.

Ms. Basauri is a member of Lewis Brisbois' Products Liability, Healthcare, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, and Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation Practices. her practice focuses on commercial, casualty, and healthcare litigation, with an emphasis on mass tort litigation.
