Sean Hoar to Present on Cybersecurity at Combined Claims Conference in Orange County
Orange County, Calif. (February 6, 2020) – Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Chair Sean B. Hoar will present for a session titled “Lessons on Claims from the Digital Battlefield” at the Combined Claims Conference, taking place Wednesday, March 4 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County hotel in Garden Grove, California.
Mr. Hoar’s presentation will take place during the Emerging Issues Track Program and will begin at 8:30 a.m. He and his fellow panelists will review current online threats from malicious actors that pose the greatest risks to information systems, including measures that can assist in limiting claims arising from data security incidents. The panelists will also cover the importance of a rapid response and why it is essential in minimizing harm.
Mr. Hoar is a partner in Lewis Brisbois’ Portland office and has extensive experience in managing responses to digital crises and effectively marshaling resources to contain and remediate information security incidents. He is a frequent presenter on the intersection of cybersecurity and the law and a regular contributor to Lewis Brisbois’ Digital Insights blog.
