Michael Platner to Lead "Going Forward" M&A Webinar on Preparing for 2021

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (December 3, 2020) - Fort Lauderdale Managing Partner Michael G. Platner will lead a virtual workshop titled “Going Forward: Leaving 2020 Behind” on December 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET. 

During this 75-minute session, M&A professionals from Lewis Brisbois, Northern Trust, Marcum, and H.I.G. WhiteHorse Capital will discuss key takeaways from 2020 and how businesses may prepare for 2021. The panelists will cover topics including recent M&A data and updates through Q3 2020, private equity learnings from 2020, and the outlook for investing, growth, and lending in 2021. In addition, the panelists will welcome guest speaker Vanessa Troyer, CEO of Architectural Mailboxes, who will share an experience that she had with a liquidity transaction this year.

Mr. Platner serves as chair of Lewis Brisbois’ national Corporate Practice and co-chair of its Securities & Corporate Finance Practice. He works with clients to develop and execute business savvy legal strategies for businesses from an early stage through maturity, sale, and merger. In his series, “Going Liquid,” Mr. Platner leads workshops that provide actionable advice to business owners who want to position their businesses successfully for ultimate liquidity events.
