Laura Lopez to Moderate OCBA Webinar on Healthcare Data & Artificial Intelligence

Orange County, Calif. (March 6, 2024) – Orange County Associate Laura Lopez will moderate a session on healthcare data and artificial intelligence at an upcoming Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Health Care Law Section Meeting in Newport Beach on March 14 at 12:30 p.m. PT.

In this informative 60-minute session featuring Lily Li (Metaverse Law), titled " Healthcare Data, Trackers, & Artificial Intelligence: Are You Giving Away Sensitive Healthcare Information?," attendees will learn about the risks of employing tracking technologies and artificial intelligence in healthcare operations and marketing. This program will highlight the latest developments in both existing and proposed legislation, both in California and internationally, regarding the utilization of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools in healthcare triage and decision-making processes. CLE credits are available.

Ms. Lopez is a member of the Construction Practice, and Chair for the OCBA Health Care Law Section. She was recently featured in the OC Lawyer Magazine “Who’s Who In The OCBA” alongside Partner Matthew Cox, who serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Section.
