John Harding to Join Strafford Webinar on Insurance Claim Notice Issues

Boston, Mass. (February 18, 2020) - Boston Partner John T. Harding will join a Strafford CLE webinar on March 18 titled "Notice for Occurrence and Claims-Made Policies: Navigating Notice of Claim vs. Circumstance, Pre-Tender Costs." Beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT, the webinar will provide insurance counsel with a review of the critical differences between claims-made and occurrence policies concerning notice of claims and failure to give notice or timely notice.

Mr. Harding and his fellow webinar panelists will discuss such key issues as an insurer's duty to reimburse defense costs before notice is provided and notice provisions for interrelated claims, guiding attendees through the pitfalls inherent in providing notice under both occurrence and claims-made policies. The panel will also provide best practices for both the insured and insurer to protect rights and minimize coverage disputes.

Mr. Harding is a member of Lewis Brisbois' Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Practices. He has over 27 years of experience representing domestic and foreign insurers on a national basis in coverage disputes under CGL, excess, umbrella, commercial property, homeowners, auto and other specialized policies.
