Employment Law Team to Present ADA Website Litigation Webinar

New York, N.Y. (January 23, 2024) - New York Partner Peter T. Shapiro and Sacramento Partner Shane Singh will present a webinar on the complexities of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website accessibility litigation on February 13 at 9:00 a.m. PT. 

This 2-hour virtual presentation, titled “ADA Website Litigation 2024 Primer,” will explore strategies for protecting businesses against copycat claims and analyze the impact of increasing state court filings on ADA litigation. Mr. Shapiro and Mr. Singh will tackle pressing questions, including the likelihood of DOJ regulations as a comprehensive solution and the unresolved issue of tester standing. Mr. Shapiro’s practice is concentrated in employment and professional liability law, commercial litigation, and appeals in New York and New Jersey. He has more than 30 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on the defense of employment discrimination, ADA access matters, non-compete, wage and hour, civil rights, trade secrets, legal malpractice, defamation, commercial, and miscellaneous professional liability matters.

Mr. Singh handles a variety of cases ranging from disability discrimination (ADA), employment law, business litigation, and real estate to bodily injury matters. His representative clients include national retailers and a number of local businesses and emerging companies, and he has also represented various restaurants on various matters from labor and employment to premises, liability, and two business transactions.
