Aaron Koenck Co-Authors Chapter of Ibero-American Yearbook on Energy Law
Houston, Texas (September 23, 2022) - Houston Associate Aaron E. Koenck recently co-authored “Unconventional Oil and Gas Resources: Legal Challenges and Lessons Learned” as part of Volume IV of the Ibero-American Yearbook on energy law, titled “Towards a Global Right to Energy.”
The article features a collection of authors from around the energy-producing world, who discuss unconventional oil and gas resources, such as shale and oil sands, along with resource extraction methods such as hydraulic fracking in various African, North American, European, and South American oil and gas producing nations. In the case studies, the authors also highlight lessons learned in these regions, and regulatory challenges and opportunities for the development of these resources.
Mr. Koenck is admitted to practice in Louisiana, Texas, and Washington D.C.
