Penelope Westwater

Penelope K. Westwater is an associate in the Madison County, Illinois office of Lewis Brisbois, located in the St. Louis metropolitan area. She is a member of the General Liability, Products Liability, Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation, and Asbestos Litigation Practices. Ms. Westwater handles all aspects of litigation, from the inception of matters through and including trial and post-trial motions.

Ms. Westwater has experience successfully defending medical malpractice claims, products liability matters, automobile and trucking accident cases, and premises liability actions. In addition, she has handled complex family law cases and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and drafting, public, private, and mezzanine financing, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Westwater clerked for the Honorable Judge Brigid Mary McGrath on the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. During law school, Ms. Westwater clerked for the Honorable Justice William Bablitch of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
