Shevata Kumar is an associate in the San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability and Asbestos Litigation Practices. 

Ms. Kumar received her Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics with an emphasis in Finance and a Bachelor of Art in Communications from the University of California, Davis. She holds a MA in Economics from California State University, East Bay, and a Juris Doctorate from San Francisco Law School. She earned both her masters and law degree while working fulltime. 

Prior to entering the legal profession, Ms. Kumar worked in high-tech, healthcare, and the utility industry.

Ms. Kumar is a Bay Area native, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
