Lewis Brisbois Grows New York Office with Addition of Ellen Greiper

New York, NY (March 26, 2018) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Ellen Greiper to its New York office as a partner in the General Liability Practice.

Greiper has more than three decades of experience defending multi-party construction and construction defect cases and transportation matters in New York state and federal courts.

“I’m pleased to have Ellen join our accomplished team of lawyers here in New York. She’s an excellent addition to our ever-growing practice,” said New York Managing Partner Greg Katz.

An appointed arbitrator for courts in Nassau County, New York, and a mediator for trial-ready cases in the Supreme Court of Nassau County, Greiper has extensive experience litigating high-exposure premises liability, labor law, and personal injury matters.

In addition to her litigation work, Greiper serves on the board of directors for the Professional Women in Construction’s New York Chapter, the organization’s founding and largest arm. She has also chaired the Defense Research Institute’s Construction Law Conference and Construction Defect, Claims & Litigation ExecuSummit.

Greiper frequently writes about emerging issues in the construction industry and co-authored the New York State Bar Association’s Construction Site Personal Injury Litigation publication, which was updated in 2018.
