Sarah Miranda

Associate

Sarah Miranda is an associate in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice.

Sarah recently graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School with an Environmental Law Certificate. While there, she participated in Environmental Moot Court and served on Animal Law Review.

In law school, Sarah gained extensive international and domestic environmental law experience. She participated in the Global Law Alliance Clinic, where she drafted an international wildlife treaty and wrote a report on the legal and environmental effects of narco-ranching in Central America, which was later published by the Center for Animal Law Studies. Additionally, Sarah interned at Defenders of Wildlife in Washington, D.C., focusing mainly on wildlife litigation. In that role, she became proficient in creating strategic legal arguments and navigating administrative law processes.

Outside the classroom, Sarah actively participated in student involvement, earning her induction into the Cornelius Honor Society. She co-founded the Lewis & Clark Surf Club, was a Project Coordinator and Student Director for the Northwest Environmental Defense Center, and served as a Board Member of the Women’s Law Caucus. In addition, Sarah served as a peer mentor, providing advice and support to first-year law students.

In her free time, Sarah can be found surfing on the Oregon coast, skiing on Mt. Hood, climbing in Smith Rock State Park, or making pottery.
