Abigail McLaughlin

Partner

Abigail McLaughlin is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice.

Abigail graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013 with a B.A. in English. She attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, she was the Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. She also served as research assistant to Professor Sarah Burstein and assisted with her publications on intellectual property law, specifically design patents. She was a member of the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Team, which placed first at regional competition and seventh at national competition. She was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

While in law school, Abigail clerked with the Texas Attorney General in their Antitrust division and the Federal Trade Commission. After graduating in 2016, she passed the California Bar. For four years, she was an associate at a boutique probate litigation firm and handled all aspects of cases from inception to settlement or trial. Then, she joined a mid-size firm as a member of their strategy, writs, and appeals team.
