Ann Kashishian

Partner

Ann Kashishian is a partner in the Wilmington office of Lewis Brisbois. She is a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation practice group and the Bankruptcy & Insolvency practice group. Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Ann owned and operated her own law firm.

For more than 12 years, Ann has represented alternative entities, corporations, and individuals in complex litigation matters throughout the Delaware and federal court systems. Her experience includes litigating shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty actions, requests for expedited injunctive relief, fraudulent conveyance actions, and related matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery. She also routinely represents individuals and entities in intricate contractual disputes before the Delaware Superior Court and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.  Ann’s clients describe her as having an “eagle eye” and “superpowers” when it comes to litigating breach of contract actions.

Ann’s bankruptcy roots run deep. Her legal career began before law school when she joined the bankruptcy department of a large Delaware law firm as a college intern. Her early years as a bankruptcy attorney included debtor and committee representations in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings. Her current practice frequently involves representing individual creditors and interested parties in complex adversary proceedings.

When not fighting for her clients’ rights, Ann participates in the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, volunteers with a local animal rescue organization, sings in community choirs, and acts at regional theaters throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware. She has also served on the board of directors for a non-profit theater located in southeastern Pennsylvania.
