Danielle K. Little

Partner

Danielle K. Little is a partner in the San Bernardino office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and ADA Compliance & Defense Practice Groups. Ms. Little has extensive experience handling complex tort, labor and employment, premises liability, landlord tenant, ADA compliance, auto liability, public entity liability, business litigation, real estate, contractual disputes, appellate and criminal defense matters. Ms. Little's practice has included the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants. 

Prior to entering civil litigation practice, Ms. Little served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County District Attorney's office in Brooklyn, New York. There, she handled appeals, federal writs of habeas corpus petitions and second chaired serious felony cases. She then worked for several law firms handling products liability, employment and civil rights litigation.

Besides practicing law, Ms. Little’s other passions include teaching and writing. She supported herself in law school by serving as a credentialed K-12 public school teacher.  After law school, Ms. Little attended Sarah Lawrence College and obtained a Masters of Fine Arts degree, with a concentration in Creative Non-Fiction. Her written work has been published in The New York Law Journal, Diversity & the Bar Magazine, QBR: The Black Book Review and several literary publications. Ms. Little has also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Long Island University and as an Adjunct Lecturer at City University of New York - Queens College, where she taught undergraduate Composition and Literature courses.
