Lamisa I. Chowdhury is an associate in the Houston office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Lamisa's practice focuses on defending both private and public entities in employment matters of all types.

Lamisa has significant prior litigation experience, representing major insurance carriers and their insured in personal injury and construction disputes. Additionally, she has handled various phases of business and commercial disputes in both litigation and arbitration. 

Lamisa earned her Juris Doctor in 2018 from Baylor University School of Law. While in law school, she served as a Technical Editor for the Baylor Law Review. Lamisa earned her Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in 2016.

In her spare time, Lamisa enjoys spending time with her husband and cat. She also enjoys reading, dancing, and listening to music. Lamisa’s favorite genre to read is historical fiction.
