John Alsobrook is a partner in the New Orleans office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. John has over 30 years of litigation and legal counseling experience. 

For over 20 years, John has focused his practice on handling accident investigations involving commercial vehicles at the scene, working with drivers, loss prevention directors, police, and related experts. He also handles investigations regarding premises liability for major international hotel brands prior to litigation. John’s experience in these areas is highlighted in his recognition by The Best Lawyers in America for nearly a decade in Personal Injury Litigation - Defense section for the New Orleans, LA area.

John successfully represents and defends clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, in trials, and before appellate courts regarding commercial transportation, construction defects, pest control defense, products liability, workers’ compensation, premises liability, hotel/innkeeper defense, insurance coverage issues, insurance defense, primary and umbrella defense, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.

John also has experience handling corporate matters related to corporate defense and intellectual property law including trademark infringement and trademark registration. 

John earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Rhodes College, and received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School where he was a trial moot court semi-finalist two years consecutively.

John has spoken at the Louisiana Pest Management Association at its Winter Conference (January of 2011) and Summer Conference (July of 2012).
