George Manos is a partner in the Chicago office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Insurance Law, Bad Faith Litigation, Directors & Officers Coverage & Litigation, and Insurance Coverage Practices. Mr. Manos has focused his practice in the area of insurance coverage claims and disputes, representing insurers regionally and nationally. He has significant experience in declaratory judgment and bad faith litigation and arbitrations throughout the country, including as lead trial counsel. Mr. Manos has argued before state and federal trial and appellate courts, and his efforts have resulted in published case law in various jurisdictions on behalf of insurers.

Mr. Manos’ coverage practice includes professional liability, commercial general liability, construction defect, public entities and officials, directors and officers liability, not for profit organizations, first party claims, and excess and umbrella policies.

In addition, Mr. Manos regularly defends clients in professional malpractice matters (lawyers, architects and engineers, real estate agents and brokers), and handles general liability litigation on behalf of website and software developers, homeowners associations, and directors and officers, as well as premises liability cases. He also represents clients in commercial litigation matters including contract and business-related disputes.
