Derek Dittmar is an associate in the Raleigh office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice.
Derek earned a J.D. from Campbell Law and an LL.M. from Nottingham-Trent in England. Derek practiced for two years at a civil defense firm and previously clerked for 380 state court judges with the North Carolina Judicial Fellowship. He also holds the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification on disability accessibility from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals, and commonly speaks, writes, and consults on issues of disability accessibility, accommodation, and best practices. Derek focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, digital compliance, disability accessibility, and professional licensing matters.
When he is not practicing law, Derek enjoys craft beer, writing and performing original music, and spending time with his wife and dogs.
