Marcus Lee


Marcus Lee is a partner in the San Francisco and Las Vegas offices of Lewis Brisbois and head of the San Francisco office’s Korean Business Practice, specializing in labor and employment. Mr. Lee maintains dual licensure in both states defending and counseling clients in all employment-related matters – litigation, risk management, and compliance.

Mr. Lee has tried cases in both U.S. federal courts and state courts. His litigation team defends cases ranging from sexual harassment, gender/age/race discrimination, wage and hour disputes, to background checks.

Mr. Lee also maintains a broad transactional practice in both business and employment law. This includes advising international companies operating in the United States on corporate structuring and employment compliance, crafting employment policies and agreements, and negotiating a broad range of business agreements ranging from sales and services to marketing and social media/influencer deals. 

His clients operate in a wide variety of industries including Silicon Valley tech, Las Vegas entertainment, construction, biopharma, educational non-profits, shipping and distribution, hospitality, law, and healthcare.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Lee also practiced entertainment law, drafting talent, production, and distribution agreements as part of the production-legal process for television and motion picture films. He represented and advised production companies on employment and entertainment related matters from a boutique practice in Beverly Hills, California.
