Matthew M. Randle is a Partner in the Sacramento and San Francisco offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Construction and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices. Mr. Randle's construction experience includes advising clients in all types of construction matters, such as the negotiation of construction contracts, terminations for default, preparation of extra work, delay and disruption claims, fraudulent billing claims, and prompt payment statute violations. He routinely litigates mechanic’s lien, surety bond and stop notice claims on both public and private construction projects for general contractor, public entity, design professional, engineer, and surety clients. He has handled claims in value of as little as $20,000 to claims in excess of $100 million.

Mr. Randle's energy litigation experience includes representation of several large municipal utility districts in varying matters relating to energy production, energy acquisition, biomass power plants, geothermal power plants, and infrastructure inspection and maintenance disputes ranging from $65 million to $122 million in damages.

Mr. Randle's commercial litigation experience includes defending multiple large newspapers against multi-million dollar high profile class actions claims, including a complete defense verdict following a lengthy class action trial in Fresno County. He has also represented national and regional banks in default proceedings against commercial developers, as well as related indemnity and guarantee enforcement actions.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Randle was a Partner with a large AmLaw200 law firm.
